My Life in Books: 2022 Edition

Fine, fine, one last round up type post. I couldn’t resist after seeing this at One More by Imyril. I would say blame Imyril but bookwyrms are noted for their very sharp retorts. Also a belated happy 1500th post to her! I need to read introductions more closely…

This is an old, old tag, believed to have originated with Adam at Roof Beam Reader in 2010.

The rules for this tag are simple: using only books read last year, answer the following questions. So, what was my life in books like in 2022?

In high school I was: Notorious Sorcerer

People might be surprised by: Lightning in the Blood

I will never be: Best Served Cold

My fantasy job is: The Eternal Champion

At the end of a long day I need: The Drawing of the Dark

I hate: Ruined Nights and Wasted Calories

I Wish I had: Gourmet Food for a Fiver

At a party you’d find me with: Wise Gals

I’ve never been to: The Mansions of the Gods

A happy day includes: Dragonsong

Motto I live by: Swords Against Death

On my bucket list is: Poseidon’s Gold

In my next life, I want to have: Good Omens

So there we have it…

  1. Ooooh I’m definitely doing this one later (at a time when I’m supposed to be awake haha)

By the way, even though I’m subscribed (just checked now that it hadn’t disappeared), I stopped receiving the notifications of your new posts! I thought strange you hadn’t posted in the last days, came here directly and found several new ones! A wordpress bug??

    1. Hmm. Odd. I don’t really know enough about WP’s backend to speculate. You’re not a WP user, just subscribed, right?

And it’s a fun little tag. Might stick it on the forum.
