Hello all, hope you had great weekends. I had one, and therefore was all short of ideas for today’s post until I got one watching The American’s Timehop.
As you can see, it’s a great idea.
There’s not a lot to say about this song that hasn’t already. It is a classic, arguably the greatest cover of all time, a fuzzed out piece of apocalyptica given beauty and shape and urgency by Hendrix’s voice and guitar.
And who doesn’t want to start the week with some apocalyptic visions?

This is such a great song – it’s been a while since I’ve listened to it, so thanks for sharing! Must be one of the top covers ever. The role it played in the Battlestar Galactica Reboot was a bit weird, though

The first 3 seasons are excellent. The last season is a bit weird. Overall, I absolutely think it’s worth watching. It’s fun and clever and beautiful and thought provoking. Captain Adama, Laura Roslin, and Starbuck are some of my favorite characters in sci-fi and I really love how human some of the scenarios they encounter are.
