Hi all, and welcome to another Music Monday, an idea that originated at The Tattooed Book Geek – ‘just a nobody with a blog’ (wordpress.com).
We will be continuing the wyrd and wonderful theme with a song that includes a fantasy story all about a forest. Very appropriate.
It’s a nice straight forwards piece of stompy heavy metal with a few folky flourishes. And birdsong. Who doesn’t want some birdsong at the start of their metal?
If music were food this would be meat and two veg. If it were a book it would be a throwback cliched fantasy that smiles and says “I know, but they’re great, aren’t they”. If it were an animal, it would be a big and friendly dog.
